Deliverables

We developed a 3-part series to tell a compelling story about some of Felicis’ key investments. The first video took a portfolio-wide view, highlighting their investment philosophy and track record of backing category-defining founders before the breakout. We featured several companies that saw explosive ARR growth post-investment, including Runway, Supabase, and Resourcely.

The second video told the story of n8n, their emergence as a leading open-source workflow automation platform, and their incredible expansion to more than 200,000 active users and 3,000 enterprise customers. We also highlighted how generative AI capabilities drove 75% of user adoption.

The final video followed Vannevar Labs’ journey from early struggles to rapid growth, rising from $3.5M in annual contract value in 2021 to $80M in 2024 while maintaining profitability and scaling AI-powered intelligence solutions across 40 Department of Defense deployments.

Process

We started with a comprehensive audit of Felicis' portfolio, outlining company milestones and gathering visual assets and market data from proven winners like Supabase, n8n, Periodic Labs, Assort Health, and Corridor. Then we did some deep-dive research into the founder-forward methodology key to their successes — fellowship programs to attract top machine learning talent, community-building events, and proprietary research platforms to reveal emerging opportunities.

We also explored what drives founders to partner with Felicis and the value of long-term relationships in venture capital. Reviewing case studies and founder testimonials, we analyzed the value Felicis provides beyond just capital — from advisory support to access to their curated founder community — and why visionary leaders choose them as a partner.

This layered approach formed the foundation for our narrative, allowing us to communicate both the tangible results Felicis helps companies achieve and the founder network that gives Felicis a competitive advantage.
